Future Leaders of Coworking | Membership Agreement

1. Mission

Future Leaders of Coworking (FLOC) is dedicated to helping emerging leaders in the coworking industry through networking, career development, and knowledge sharing. We aim to create a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive community that uplifts members and strengthens the coworking ecosystem.

2. Our Values

By joining, members commit to embodying the following values:

  • Collaboration Over Competition – Working together to elevate the coworking industry.

  • Integrity and Respect – Treating fellow members with professionalism, respect, and honesty.

  • Inclusion and Equity – Welcoming diverse perspectives and experiences, striving for accessibility and inclusivity.

  • Growth and Development – Supporting each other’s professional journeys through mentorship, education, and shared opportunities.

  • Community First – Placing the well-being and success of the community above personal gain.

3. Membership Term & Renewal

  • Membership begins upon payment of dues and continues for the subscription period selected (monthly or annual).

  • Memberships automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date in accordance with Section 9.

4. Payments

  • All membership dues are billed via Stripe.

  • By enrolling, you authorize recurring payments until cancellation.

  • Failure to maintain an active payment method may result in suspension or termination of membership.

5. Refund & Return Policy

  1. No Refunds: All membership fees (initiation, renewal, recurring) are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, dissatisfaction, inability to use benefits, or business/personal changes.

  2. Annual Memberships: Annual memberships are prepaid, non-refundable, and remain active until the paid term expires. Early cancellation does not result in refunds or prorated credits.

  3. Non-Prorated: FLOC does not issue prorated refunds for unused membership periods.

  4. Transferability: Memberships are personal, non-transferable, and may not be reassigned.

  5. Events & Programs: Fees for workshops, events, or special programs are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If FLOC cancels an event, credits may be issued at FLOC’s discretion.

  6. Discretionary Credits: In rare cases, FLOC may issue a credit or extension at its sole discretion. This is not guaranteed.

  7. Automatic Renewal: Annual memberships renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Failure to cancel will result in automatic non-refundable charges.

  8. Chargebacks & Disputes: Members agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes. Disputes must be addressed directly with FLOC at hello@futureleadersofcoworking.com. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension or termination.

6. Member Code of Conduct

As a condition of membership, you agree to the FLOC Code of Conduct, which includes:

  • Professionalism: Engage respectfully and constructively in all discussions, meetings, and events.

  • No Solicitation or Poaching: Direct solicitation, recruiting, or hiring attempts within the community are prohibited. Sharing opportunities is allowed in designated spaces with transparency.

  • Confidentiality: Community conversations and resources remain internal unless otherwise permitted.

  • Constructive Engagement: Avoid harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct.

  • Platform Guidelines: Follow the rules for FLOC’s digital and in-person platforms.

7. Violations & Removal Process

  1. Warning – A private discussion to clarify and correct behavior.

  2. Review & Discussion – If issues continue, a formal review and possible final warning by FLOC leadership.

  3. Removal – Repeated or severe violations (e.g., solicitation, harassment, unethical conduct) may result in removal without refund.

  4. Appeal – Members may appeal removal within 14 days for reconsideration.

8. Non-Solicitation & Employer Disclaimer

  • Individual Capacity: Membership is personal, entered into by individuals, not employers, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

  • No Employer Liability: FLOC is not responsible for business decisions, employment changes, or disputes between members, employers, or third parties that arise from participation.

  • Sponsorship Disclaimer: Employer-sponsored memberships are professional development benefits only and do not grant employers rights over FLOC’s governance, programming, or members.

9. Intellectual Property

All FLOC resources (toolkits, guides, recordings, event content) remain the property of FLOC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Participation in FLOC is voluntary and at your own risk. FLOC is not liable for any outcomes of relationships, collaborations, or business activities between members. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FLOC disclaims liability for damages arising from membership participation.

11. Termination of Membership

FLOC may suspend or terminate your membership without refund if you breach this Agreement, the Refund Policy, or the Code of Conduct.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles

13. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting dues via Stripe and/or clicking “I agree,” you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by:
